Dragon Egret

What began as a mixed media sculpture was not meant to remain static, and became a looped stop motion animation. As an installation the video is housed inside a fabric tree stump surrounded by an egret egg, feathers and shells. This piece symbolizes personal and social internal dragons we must overcome to hatch new ways of living. Growth is non linear, yet interconnected.
