Space Between
resin casting
2008
A resin casting of the space between body and machine as a place for architectural investigation. This piece was done twice. During the first pour the material cracked and altered the piece. A second cast was done which covered the entire hand and arm and did not crack. Each have their own characteristics of working with a medium and letting the medium dictate to you (just as in computing).
Created with generous assistance & support from Jon Buck – University of Brighton Plastics Department
